I’d like you to meet Robert and Casey. The first wedding that I ever shot was of Casey’s sister, Brit over 2 years ago! Now it’s Casey’s turn and I’m so excited to get to be a part of her big day too.
Robert and Casey came up from Auburn to shoot their engagements; it was really good to get to spend some time with them and hear more about their plans for the wedding.
Here are some of my favorite shots from the day, which I think really portray their personalities – fun, laid back, adventurous, and quite in love. To see the full gallery and to order prints, click HERE.

And here they are! Just in time for Christmas I have Billy and Ashley’s engagement photos back and I couldn’t be happier with them! I had so much fun and CAN’T WAIT for their wedding (they’re having the reception in a barn…barn ful of old friends, how perfect is that!?)! Enjoy the photos and I’ll be back after my vacation cruise in the Bahamas with my family! Happy Holidays everyone!

One of my favorite parts about shooting weddings is the potential for long term relationships. I love that you’re shooting the beginning of a new life, a new family. I have so much fun re-connecting with people who’s weddings I’ve shot and doing family portraits or baby pictures and continuing the bond that we formed during the whole wedding planning/shooting process.
Recently I was contacted by Casey Cooper about shooting her wedding next year in Auburn and was thrilled. Casey’s older sister, Brit, was my first wedding ever, over 2 years ago now. Hearing Casey say that she knew all along that she would be using me for her wedding was such an awesome thing, and getting to hang out with the Coopers, see Josh and Brit and now photograph Casey as she starts her family is going to be amazing.
This weekend we braved the cold and shot some engagement portraits with Robert and Casey here in Birmingham. Here are some polaroids…film to come (hopefully before Christmas!!).

Daniel and Kimberly are a lot of fun and met Paul and I early (ish!) a few weeks ago for some engagement portraits at Jemison Park. I’ve never shot at Jemison park before, but it was gorgeous, as were the fun couple! Paul came along and shot a super 8 and HD engagement video for them (coming later this week!) and we all had a great time. Here are some of my favorites from the shoot!

This morning I had the pleasure of hanging out with Kimberly and Daniel and shooting some engagement photos at Jemison Park. The weather was fantastic, the leaves were falling and Kimberly and Daniel were a blast! These are some of the polaroids from this morning…film to come. We surprised them with a mini-engagement video complements of Paul and Kinora Films which we’ll post once it’s ready (we have to mail the super 8 off) so get pumped about that too!
